RobinsonGLADYSThe funeral of Gladys Robinson (nee Jolley) took place at Walton Lea Crematorium on Thursday 3rd July. Gladys was the widow of George Robinson and died on Saturday 14th June at Halton Haven Hospice, aged 94. A wake was held at Runcorn Golf Club.
The funeral was attended by family and friends, including:
Family: children Merle and Clive; grandchildren Nicholas and Rebecca Thackray; great-grandchildren Kye and Bobbi Thackray, Nellie-Jean Ward; cousins Beryl Stubbs, Myra Mather; nieces Jean Sheridan, Ann Smith, Gillian Pickering; other relatives Denis King, John Abberley, Rosalin Thackray, Joanne Parry.
Friends: Pam, Lesley, Tony and Martin Littlemore; Christine Gillies; Lyndsey and Alex Russell; Jean Bradberry; Ann Buckley; Irene Cavanagh.
Thanks to other attendees for their support, including Gillian Slater and Kate Creeney, as well as those who drove family and friends to the service. Thanks also to the celebrant Stephen Artus for a lovely service, and to Ray and the team at Rigby's (Co-operative) Funeralcare for ensuring a smooth and dignified send-off for Gladys.
Donations were made to Halton Haven Hospice in Gladys's memory.
